REALTOR® Membership Application Statement
New Smyrna Beach Board of REALTORS® (NSBBOR)

I hereby apply for REALTOR® membership in the New Smyrna Beach Board of REALTORS® (NSBBOR). I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), including the obligation to arbitrate disputes. I also agree to comply with the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of NSBBOR, the Florida Realtors®, and NAR.

If required, I agree to complete a reasonable, non-discriminatory written examination covering the Code of Ethics, Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations.

I understand that membership includes both privileges and responsibilities, and that failure to meet the requirements within the timeframe established by NSBBOR Bylaws may result in revocation of membership. I also acknowledge that continued membership requires periodic Code of Ethics training, as outlined in the Bylaws.


New Member Orientation & Code of Ethics Training

(Required for all new Primary REALTOR® Members)

I understand that I must complete the New Member Orientation and Code of Ethics training within 120 days of joining NSBBOR. My membership is provisional until these requirements are met. Failure to complete them will result in suspension of membership, including MLS access and Supra Key privileges, until training is completed.

I acknowledge receipt of the NAR Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.


MLS Training Requirement

(Required for MLS Access)

Stellar MLS will notify you directly regarding MLS training requirements and completion deadlines.


Paperless Billing & Member Communication

NSBBOR uses paperless billing. Members can access and print invoices online. All members are required to maintain a valid phone number and email address to receive billing notices, event updates, and other communications through our Member Communication System.


Resignation & Ethics Obligations

If I resign or otherwise terminate my membership while an ethics complaint is pending, I understand that the Board of Directors may condition reinstatement on my agreement to participate in the ethics process and abide by the outcome. I also understand that the duty to arbitrate survives termination of membership if the dispute arose while I was a REALTOR®.


Application Requirements

  • Must be an active, licensed real estate agent or a licensed/certified residential appraiser
  • Complete the online REALTOR® Member Application
  • If applying as a Secondary Member, include a Letter of Good Standing from your Primary Association
  • Allow 5–7 business days for processing after submission. You will receive an email with next steps once your application is reviewed.

No Refund Policy

Membership applications and associated dues are non-refundable. Please ensure all information is accurate before submitting your application.
